Acai berries have 10x the level of antioxidants as grapes, twice as many of blueberries and 30x the amount of a glass of red wine! This makes it the highest level antioxidant fruit in the world. Antioxidants assist in removing potentially damaging oxidizing agents in our bodies.

Protein

Acai also has a strong protein profile similar to an egg, and helps to build, repair and protect muscle tissue. There have been 19 different amino acids found in Acai berries, which are the building blocks of protein.

Omega

Acai berries are actually richer in Omega 3′s than some types of fish per ounce Acai contains Omega 6 and Omega 9, which favors the production of good cholesterol and fights hypertension. Acai berries are nearly 50% fat, and 75% of that is Omega fats.

Vitamins & Minerals

Acai berry’s Vitamin C content matches that of the blueberry. Vitamin C is essential in helping the body fight everyday infections such as colds and flu. Acai berries also contain A, B1, B2, B3, and E. as well as potassium, magnesium, copper, calcium and zinc.
